1 / Good to know

Clothing recommendations: Dress according to the weather and temperature and in comfortable and mobile clothing.

We move on easily accessible paths and tracks during our hike and forestbathing.

It's always good to have an extra warm clothing layer to put on when we are stationary. Other things you can consider packing with you are: water bottle and your own yoga mat if you have one.

2 / When you arrive

We gather at the meeting point announced by the guide, where we wait for all participants before starting our adventure. A short but informative introduction will give you an overview of the day before we set off to explore what lies ahead.

3 / Program

We start with a stroll in nature towards the campsite we will be staying at during the day. After that, the day's yoga instructor will lead a relaxing yogasession until the lunch break. We eat around the campfire of food made on fire or a campstove. Lunch includes a main course and a small dessert and coffee/tea. After lunch, we take in the forest with all our senses during a so-called forestbath. We finish by heading back to the parking where we started.

4 / What is forestbathing?

Forest bathing, 'Shinrin-Yoku', is a form of natural therapy from Japan. It emerged in the 1980s as an antidote to stress and burnout and has since spread around the world. Forest bathing is the practice of immersing yourself in nature in a mindful way, using your senses to derive a whole range of benefits for your physical, mental, emotional, and social health.
